Loved this story. I think these are your best.
However.
Not such a fan of referring to the exes as “the elephants in the room.” It lacks grace. Even though I get what you’re going for.

wow man thats one of the best stories iv ever read….if i cant see myself in the text i dont enjoy reading it…I REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE i wish u guys would have won.women have their way allllllllll the time,they let us beat ourselves up…maybe next time huh

1 – True, you’re a great, great writer/storyteller. Always enjoy your stuff.

2 – Ditto @ inquiring mind.

3 – Someone I know likes to say, “keep your I Love Yous” up to date. If there are worthwhile feelings there, express ‘em before they’re too late. You kicked everyone else out, after all. Might as well.

Also, that whole “don’t talk to me again” rule is, 98,9% of the time, a test. Ignore it.

Sorry I meant wonderful. I like the part where the taxi driver was like “you guys both lost” it flowed with how your night with the ladies went and your feelings towards seeing them.
