This Is What A Happy Couple Looks Like
Before watching this video, three things about it:
First: It’s kind of ugly. I hate the song and the dancing is hardly sensual. It honestly looks like something out of a dance at a public school named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I should know because I went to a public school named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and I went to the dances.
Second: This is romance, people. Seriously. Look at the laughs, the smiles, and most importantly, how comfortable they are with one another. We should be so lucky they let us even watch such a moment. Not because it’s lewd (that’s actually what makes it somewhat uncomfortable to watch), but because it is obviously something they’ve done plenty of times before in the privacy of their own quarters. For whatever reason, this time, they decided to record it and as a reward we get to see a young couple who may or may not end up together forever have a moment Videos like this should go viral.
Third: If I saw them, I’d thank them, for this is a tutorial on how to have fun as a couple, an example of what happiness in a relationship looks like. It was also a reminder of relationships past. Not ashamed to admit, I like to dance with the woman I’m dating in a room, quietly, with no one around. In my last relationship, we’d dance in my apartment together at least once a week, not as a rule, just as a way to let loose with one another. Couples need moments like this, to remind themselves why they’re together in the first place.

I have the biggest smile on my face right now! They are adorable. I actually like the song and hearing it made me want to get up and wine…I didn’t find it particularly lewd, but perhaps that’s the Trini in me?
These are the moments I miss the most when I think about relationships and why I want to be in one– a good one– so much. I love to dance and I often find myself bopping around randomly while in the house, while cooking, cleaning, folding laundry,etc. so it would be AWESOME to have someone to dance with me, lol.
It’s interesting that they filmed this and shared it. I wonder why…

The answer to your question on why we recored it.
We were actually bored in my house and we were in the mood to dance.
So we just recorded for fun 🙂
But we dance all the time alone in my house or in his house.
It’s something we both love to do and it’s awesome that we can do it together and share moments like these with others.
Also I just wanted to show everyone that there is hope in relationships because now and days relationships are boring and all they do is have sex and argue and do nothing.
Me and my boyfriend do everything, and I can honesty say he’s my bestfriend too.

I thought this video was really cute and there should be more videos like it. The best times in my relationship is dancing around around the house with my boyfriend and now we dance around with our son and he is growing his love for music. Best feeling in the world is watching my family:)

OK, are you all serious? I’ve been to a many clubs and seen this scene a many times. Heck, I’ve probably recreated this scene myself with a few guys. It’s dancing. I think it’s cute that this is a couple and the story is they care about each other, but this is hardly anything worth awing over. This doesn’t say love to me. It doesn’t even say relationship. If this is what happy couples should look like, then let’s all go to the club and have another look. Please note that I am not hating, I’m just keeping it real.

Loved it. I don’t usually consider myself to be very mushy (and I’m sure all of my exes would agree) but it reminds me of when my ex & I sang the lyrics to “like you” by Bow wow ft ciara. He did Bow wow’s part and I did Ciara’s. It was quite possibly the corniest thing I’ve ever done, but one of my fondest memories.
